Minds For The Future is a psychology practice that is here to listen, challenge and facilitate your thinking. Our psychologists are experts in improving mental health.

Our psychologists are registered and experienced to work with:

- All Minds For The Future psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA) and are members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Dr Alice Tippett
As a qualified psychologist with over 12 years’ experience working with adults, adolescents and children, in both hospital and community settings, I have demonstrated effective and comprehensive assessment of the client population, knowledge of various neuropsychological syndromes and have treated people with a variety of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder, and sleep issues.
My approach is based on a “Whatever it Takes” model, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strengths based, Solution-focussed therapy, with a special interest in neuro-behavioural integration.
I have considerable experience and skills in cognitive assessment, diagnosis and behaviour management, having worked in Cognitive and Memory Dementia Services (CDAMS) and rehabilitation settings, with clients who have sustained various forms of acquired brain injury, as well as in the general community.
The values I embody throughout my practice and life include respect, kindness, empathy, collaboration, dedication, integrity, accountability, and a striving for further improvement and knowledge. Dedication to best practices, quality improvement, professional development and research are an integral element of my work.
Elizabeth is both a qualified social worker and psychologist with over 5 years’ experience in hospital and community settings.
She takes an eclectic approach to working with her clients, incorporating her skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, Solutions-focussed and Strengths-based Approaches. Elizabeth has experience in working with depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, sleep difficulties, health behaviour change, parenting strategies/ skills, and assertiveness/ communication skills.
Her special interest is helping clients to identify and overcome their psychological barriers to health behaviour change.
