Dr Sian Mary Hughes

Dr Sian Hughes is a consultant paediatrician. Paediatrics deals with the care of infants, children and adolescents, and their growth and development.
Sian works as a developmental and behavioural paediatrician here at Coolaroo Clinic. She has been a part of our team since 1992.
She has also been with Eastern Health (Maroondah CAMHS) since 1998, co-ordinating the autism program for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Dr Hughes is also the President of AuSLMAT. The Australia Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team (AuSLMAT) which was formed in the aftermath of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. Dr Hughes offers her time and expertise on a voluntary basis. While initially the focus was to assist with the crisis situation, AuSLMAT has continued to offer ongoing assistance to the poor and disadvantaged communities of Sri Lanka and to help bolster the local health services.
Dr Czarina Atupan-Calderon

Dr. Czarina Calderon graduated from Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines in 1992. She attained her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physician in General Paediatrics when she came to Australia.
Dr. Calderon has extensive Respiratory background and worked as an Honorary Fellow in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Monash Medical Centre until 2003. She then proceeded to do top-up training and was the Cystic Fibrosis Fellow (2012-2014) and then the Respiratory Fellow (2014-2015) at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
She is currently a Consultant Paediatrician at The Northern Hospital, and is affiliated with various private hospitals, including the Mother Baby Unit at Northpark Private Hospital.
Aside from General Paediatrics, Dr. Calderon’s interests are in Asthma and Wheezing, Chronic cough, tuberculosis and various respiratory diseases. She also has special interests in Paediatric & Newborn growth & development, Paediatric Sleep disorders and Infant Sleep association disorders.
